This type of product sits as a ‘temperature gauge’ above the operations systems
and by comparing data about the same process can highlight broken interfaces to
external and internal systems, breaks in reconciliations and other data. Traffic light
reporting (red, amber green) can be incorporated in order to assist senior management.
A good example of this is Pacemetrics’ Pacemaker product.
